Bob Porter has more than 45 years of experience in successfully representing business owners in a broad variety of commercial disputes.

Since 1974, Bob Porter has counseled and advocated for closely held companies and tried cases before juries in a number of areas, including:

  • Contract disputes. These contract disputes center on business and commercial contracts involving sales and purchases of goods, performances of services, covenants not to compete, and real estate purchases and sales, as well as businesses.
  • Partnership disputes and dissolutions. These partnerships range from physicians, accountants, architects to insurance providers.
  • LLC disputes and dissolutions. These disputes typically are about division and distribution of profits, the conduct and the sale of the business and formation issues.
  • Insurance claims for businesses. These claims range from fidelity bonds (insurance on embezzlement or loss of money due to a former employee), title insurance, and general liability insurance disputes.
